End of Year News

The following is our end of year newsletter. This was mailed to our supporters giving a quick summary of 2023. Enjoy.

Dear Friend,

I trust this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. We have felt and experienced the fruit of your prayers, and I thank God for you. My family is well. Rebekah just turned 16 and obtained her level 2 driver’s license. Jeremy continues to work hard at Lowe’s Home Improvement. Penny is staying busy with her role as a creative learning coordinator at our church preschool, and she has launched a small business selling Scentsy products. I am truly blessed with a wonderful family.

I continue to preach the gospel in the highways and hedges. Additionally, I have continued to preach from the pulpit of Duncan Baptist Church in Holly Springs, NC, as their Transitional Pastor. Please pray for the search committee as they seek the Lord for a full-time shepherd. I don’t believe that I am being called there as their full-time pastor. I’m an evangelist!

As Giving Others Eternity continues to embark on our mission of spreading the gospel, I am excited to share a remarkable opportunity that allows you to multiply the impact of your support. Right now, we have been blessed with a generous donor who has pledged to match every dollar donated to our ministry up to $2500.

This means that your contribution will be doubled, instantly doubling the resources available to advance our mission and make a positive difference in the lives of those we seek to reach. The deadline for this challenge is December 25, Christmas day. Also, please note that regular monthly donations don’t count toward this challenge.

I understand that these times may be challenging for many, but your partnership, in any amount, is a valuable contribution to the success of Giving Others Eternity.

Enclosed, please find a summary of the work we have done in 2023. I conservatively estimate that over 850 people trusted Christ this year through our ministry. Many more heard the message. I pray that those gospel seeds will sprout, and God will give the increase.

On behalf of my family, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your past support and consideration of this matching gift opportunity. Together, we can create lasting change and bring hope to the lost and the least of these.

Until the Net is Full,
Darrel
